​Our studio features professional, fun classes in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical &

Dance Works (this class includes lessons in Lyric, Contemporary, Leaps, Turns and Conditioning).

Our amazing space features four spacious dance studios with sprung flooring, and a waiting area.

 

Our highly qualified and caring staff strive to satisfy every students’ needs by offering the highest quality in dance education, in an atmosphere that is creative, supportive, and cheerful.

Dance Dimensions is a proud member of Dance Masters of America.

Our teaching staff are either working towards or are Certified by

test-to-teach with Dance Masters of America. Dance Masters of

America is an International Organization of dance educators who

have been certified by test to teach. DMA has been setting the

standards in dance education since 1884. There are more than

30 chapters throughout the United States and Canada. Our certified

teachers are members of Dance Teachers of Connecticut, Chapter 18.

Dylan’s Wings of Change Wingman Program

Wingman is a youth-led social and emotional learning environment from Dylan’s Wings of Change,

a foundation dedicated to the memory of Dylan Hockley, one of the first grade victims of the

Sandy Hook School shootings on December 14th, 2012. Dylan had autism, and was able to navigate the world and enjoy life so much more when those around him would step up and be his Wingman.

 

There is a growing belief and body of research around the significant benefits of inclusive

environments for the physical, behavioral and emotional development of ALL children,

not just those with disabilities and special needs.

 

Wingman is designed to be used in a wide range of organizations, from our schools through dance, sports, recreation and beyond. Wingman is designed for all children to experience, no matter

what their ability. The primary goal is for all children to feel accepted by recognizing their unique

and individual strengths and boosting their self-confidence.

 

The mission of Wingman for Dance is to inspire dancers, regardless of age, level or skill to become helpful heroes that go above and beyond for each other. Wingman boosts children’s confidence and recognizes their unique strengths. Wingman will improve the overall vibe of your studio by

creating an atmosphere of connection and belonging.
